ITINERARY & LIVE TRACKING
It took 193 days in total and 139 of days riding, for Ben to circumnavigate Australia by bicycle. Ben left Sydney on June 10, 2017 and completed the ride by February 10, 2018, after having a 7 week delay in QLD after requiring shoulder surgery. The map below shows the planned route around the country, taking Ben to the most eastern, northern, western and southern points of Australia, as well as Uluru in the centre.

Ben's movements around the country were tracked via MAProgress Technology, a revolutionary satellite tracking system and mapping for outdoor sporting events. Ben's actual journey can be viewed here and in the map below. The MAProgress technology was a fantastic safety tool when we were in areas with no internet or phone reception and meant that journey could be followed in real-time from anywhere in the world.
